Job Description
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Bookkeeper to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $36.00 to $40.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:Manage day to day bookkeeping functions, including recording financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting operational accounting activities.
Process accounts payable, payroll related information, and other routine accounting transactions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain accounting records within QuickBooks Enterprise and assist with ongoing financial reporting and reconciliation activities.
Provide financial data, reports, and supporting documentation to internal accounting teams and business stakeholders as needed.
Support business transition activities by maintaining accurate accounting records and assisting with data extraction and reporting requests.
Previous experience performing full cycle bookkeeping, accounting support, or transactional accounting functions.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise and experience maintaining accurate financial records.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, payroll support, account reconciliations, and general bookkeeping practices.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a changing business environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
Prior experience supporting business acquisitions, transitions, system changes, or organizational growth initiatives.
Familiarity with ERP platforms and exposure to accounting system conversions or implementations.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in managing financial transactions and documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Adaptable and dependable professional who can thrive in a dynamic environment and support evolving business needs.
